Regent Market Cooperative is unique because it is a traditional neighborhood grocery store serving the Regent, Monroe and Vilas neighborhoods. We serve our members, the neighborhood and other customers by providing and operating a customer-focused retail grocery store on a financially sound basis.

Produce
We go out of our way to connect with local farmers to provide you with fresh vegetables. Our principal distributor of local, organic produce is Robert Pierce, owner of Half the Acres Farm and a mainstay in the movement toward sustainable local food systems. We look to Ela Orchards for the best of Wisconsin apples. We are grateful to all those from nearby small farms and orchards who stop in personally to supply us with their fresh seasonal produce.
Cheese & Dairy
Represented in our coolers are some of the best dairies in Wisconsin: Swiss Valley, Sassy Cow, Organic Valley, and Prairie Farms. You’ll find Crystal Ball milk in old-fashioned glass bottles, fresh Sugar River yogurt and Bountiful Bean tofu and hummus, all locally produced. We have eggs from three different Wisconsin farms: conventional eggs from Bahler Farm and organic eggs from New Century and the Amish M&M Farm. We are proud of our friendship with these dairy farmers and proud to offer you their fresh, fine products.
Check out our cheese case for the great local brie, gruyere, parmesan, and goat cheeses you’ll find there. We have it all, from 10-year-old cheddar to just-made mozzarella. We are pleased to represent such skilled cheesmakers as Cedar Grove, Schullsburg, Black River, Van Gogh, Betin, and Farmer John.
Meat
In this age of prepackaging, how often do you find a friendly, helpful person behind the counter to help you select your meats? Well, RMC has that friendly person: Bill Stoneking. We take pride in our Meat Department. We offer meat from Wisconsin Meadows Grass-fed Beef Cooperative. We sell only free-range chickens, raised without hormones and antibiotics, from Gerber Amish Farms. For a healthy, fast meal, whole chickens are rotisserie roasted daily. And we make the famous Regent Market Bratwursts right in the store. They come in several varieties: Tuscan Chicken, Apple Spinach Feta, veggie, as well as the traditional brats. Of course, behind the meat counter is someone waiting to help you with exactly what and how much you want. like.
