Regent Market Cooperative is unique because it is a traditional neighborhood grocery store serving the Regent, Monroe and Vilas neighborhoods. We serve our members, the neighborhood and other customers by providing and operating a customer-focused retail grocery store on a financially sound basis.
Produce
We go out of our way to connect with local farmers to provide you with fresh vegetables. Our principal distributors of local, organic produce are New Traditions Farm and Robert Pierce, owner of Half the Acres Farm and a mainstay in the movement toward sustainable local food systems. We are grateful to all those from nearby small farms and orchards who stop in personally to supply us with their fresh seasonal produce.
Cheese & Dairy
Represented in our coolers are some of the best dairies in Wisconsin: Sassy Cow, Organic Valley, and Prairie Farms. We have organic eggs from two different Wisconsin farms: New Century and the Prairie Bluff Farm. We are proud of our friendship with these dairy farmers and proud to offer you their fresh, fine products.
Check out our cheese case for the great local cheeses, we have it all, from 10-year-old cheddar to Drunken Goat. We are pleased to represent such skilled cheese makers as Cedar Grove, Schullsburg, Strack-View Farms, and Aristaeus Cheese Co.
Meat
We offer meat from Wisconsin Meadows Grass-fed Beef Cooperative. For a healthy, fast meal, whole chickens are rotisserie roasted daily. We make the famous Regent Market Bratwursts right in the store. Of course, behind the meat counter is someone waiting to help you with exactly what and how much you want.
Beer, Wine & Liquor
A large majority of our options come from Wisconsin breweries, including Capital Brewery, Lake Louie, New Glarus, Ale Asylum, Working Draft, Karben4, Brewing Project, Central Waters, and Leinenkugel.
Bakery
Madison Sourdough Bread is delivered daily. We also feature fresh breads from Origin Breads, Fresh baked sweets from Feed Bakery are delivered Monday mornings. There is a variety of breads, cereals, pies, cookies, and seasonal delicacies. There is an amazing, large-store selection on the shelves of The Little Store!
